The present memoir illustrates the results of some specific theoretical-experimental studies concerning the construction of a massive-type track equipment intended for an underground railway installation. Simulations of dynamic train-track equipment interactions, carried out with a numeric model, have allowed the optimisation of the train-track equipment characteristics and the construction of a prototype that has been subjected to laboratory tests. It is in particular showed that the contribution of both the numeric simulation activity and the experimental one, has allowed the definition of a track equipment having the required vibration attenuation characteristics, long term preservation of the track geometry, low predisposition to rail corrugation.
