Even if a lot of works have been proposed on the mixed-integer enterprise-wide optimization in the scientific literature, only few papers remark the relevant importance of supply contracts, penalties, and trade agreements in the definition of the optimal scheduling/planning for large-scale industrial processes. On this subject, this manuscript investigates the possibility to model commercial bounds and tight contract clauses by means of the Boolean algebra. It takes into consideration also some specific and widespread clauses and agreement in order to show the application of Boolean logic to a concrete case study.

Abstract
Even if a lot of works have been proposed on the mixed-integer enterprise-wide optimization in the scientific literature, only few papers remark the relevant importance of supply contracts, penalties, and trade agreements in the definition of the optimal scheduling/planning for large-scale industrial processes. On this subject, this manuscript investigates the possibility to model commercial bounds and tight contract clauses by means of the Boolean algebra. It takes into consideration also some specific and widespread clauses and agreement in order to show the application of Boolean logic to a concrete case study.File in questo prodotto:
