This paper introduces a freeware program for linear regressions that implements robust methods for parameters estimation and outliers detection. Usually, the users cannot develop their proper code to solve data regression problems and they prefer to use a precompiled package that involves specific analysis and methods. Accordingly to this approach, the BzzMath library comprises a user-friendly graphical toolkit for linear regressions. The BzzLinearRegression class and program allow solving regression problems that are linear in the parameters. To show some of its potentialities, the telemetry of Raikkonen’s Ferrari during the Interlagos Gran Prix of the F1 motor racing in the world championship 2007 was considered as a case study.

Abstract
This paper introduces a freeware program for linear regressions that implements robust methods for parameters estimation and outliers detection. Usually, the users cannot develop their proper code to solve data regression problems and they prefer to use a precompiled package that involves specific analysis and methods. Accordingly to this approach, the BzzMath library comprises a user-friendly graphical toolkit for linear regressions. The BzzLinearRegression class and program allow solving regression problems that are linear in the parameters. To show some of its potentialities, the telemetry of Raikkonen’s Ferrari during the Interlagos Gran Prix of the F1 motor racing in the world championship 2007 was considered as a case study.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
