Today’s Space programs goal is to provide an environment where present and future travelers in Space may work efficiently and effectively over longer and longer periods of time. This research project intends to enquire into human movements dynamics in the microgravity (or partial gravity condition) and to present concepts and solutions for a novel approach to make easier human missions of Space exploration. The aim of this proposal is to design and develop a new Clothing Suppor System, necessary for human’s life and work in Space and extraterrestrial environment (moon, Mars and space vehicles), that allows to improve efficiency in on-board crew utilization and to increase the physical humans capabilities of the astronauts. This paper presents a research process in progress which will take in exam two principals phases of the project: a) the first phase of the research will regard the study of the clothing materials and fabrics suitable for the on-board environment; b) the second phase of the research will regard the project of the clothing and the prosthesis integrated into the same clothing.
