The promotion of minimization of environmental impacts and healthy indoor air are essential to sustainable development. A number of actions are taken to improve the environmental qualities of the spaces where we live and promote sustainable built environments, but the results aren’t so satisfactory. It is necessary to increase the awareness of the population and the level of education of each actor that plays a role in the building sector: designers, facility manager and administrators, occupants. This contribution deals with education of future designers at Politecnico di Milano.
