The paper deals with the design of new static and fatigue test bench, installed at Politecnico di Milano. This system is suitable for testing passenger, semitrailer, locomotive, metro and tram bogies. The set up of the bench allows to perform tests on bogies according the UIC specifications and in case of more severe load conditions. Tests can be carried out also on superstructure.
