Vehicles fuel consumption and emission can be impor- tantly reduced introducing available technologies and adopting virtuous driver behaviours, as stated in diffe- rent experimental studies. Moreover elementary evalua- tions of vehicle mechanics demonstrate that the pre- sent tendency to increase continuously mass, speed and acceleration of vehicles produces avoidable negative effects on related energetic and ecological aspects.
