Microkinetic modelling represents a promising and convenient tool for the consolidation of fundamental information about a catalytic process. These models attempt to incorporate the basic surface chemistry: crucial and essential aspect of all the derivation is the reliable and general estimation of the rate parameters of the elementary reactions. In this work, through a review of our most recent results in microkinetic development and analysis of CH4 Steam Reforming on Rh, we present an overview of the main features and challenges of the microkinetic modelling, concerning both its development and its exploitation in the fundamental analysis of catalytic processes.

Abstract
Microkinetic modelling represents a promising and convenient tool for the consolidation of fundamental information about a catalytic process. These models attempt to incorporate the basic surface chemistry: crucial and essential aspect of all the derivation is the reliable and general estimation of the rate parameters of the elementary reactions. In this work, through a review of our most recent results in microkinetic development and analysis of CH4 Steam Reforming on Rh, we present an overview of the main features and challenges of the microkinetic modelling, concerning both its development and its exploitation in the fundamental analysis of catalytic processes.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
