Two different fluorescence lifetime imaging systems were developed to be utilized as a diagnostic tool. One system utilized dye laser pumped by a nitrogen laser and a nanosecond gateable camera. The second system consisted of an intensified charge coupled device capable of a gate width of 200 ps and also a mode-locked lasers. It was observed that the new system exhibited a time resolution <50 ps and accuracy in lifetime measurement <100 ps.

Abstract
Two different fluorescence lifetime imaging systems were developed to be utilized as a diagnostic tool. One system utilized dye laser pumped by a nitrogen laser and a nanosecond gateable camera. The second system consisted of an intensified charge coupled device capable of a gate width of 200 ps and also a mode-locked lasers. It was observed that the new system exhibited a time resolution <50 ps and accuracy in lifetime measurement <100 ps.File in questo prodotto:
