Abstract
Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete is not a new material, but recently the RILEM Technical Commission 162 "Test and Design methods for Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete" is preparing some documents to classify its mechanical properties in order to take into account them in the design of concrete structures. The volume represents a first attemp to put structural applications in evidence, and gathers some contributions of various authors who attended the workshop held at the Department of Structural Engineering - Politecnco di Milano - on April 4th, 2000. Enclosed in the volume there are the first two documents published by the Technical Commission and a first draft of the New National Recommendations prepared by UNI to classify and characterize the same material.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
