Abstract
The application of the vorticity confinement technique to single-blade rotorcraft simulations, both in hovering and forward flight conditions, allows to improve the representation of certain features of the flow field but has a very limited influence on the predicted thrust. Comparison with experimental sectional blade loads shows localized improvements, mainly in the central region of the retraiting blade.File in questo prodotto:
