Lecco. Paesaggi della città

Il volume è un atlante fotografico che sistematicamente restituisce le immagini a volo d’uccello di un intero territorio comunale, un territorio particolarmente complesso per conformazione. Lecco costituisce un soggetto ideale per l’aerofotografia: sia per il paesaggio naturale (che ha al centro la conca tra lago e monti, solcata da tre torrenti), sia per la compagine costruita attorno ai primi nuclei collocati nelle valli e sul lungolago. Il volume si offre come strumento indispensabile per conoscere la l’articolazione dell’insediamento e per consentire la prima verifica di ogni ipotesi di intervento umano. This book is a photographic atlas, systematically explaining the bird’s eye views of the whole municipal territory, an area with particularly complex features. Lecco is an ideal subject for aerial photography: both for the natural landscape (having at its centre the basin between the lake and mountains, crossed by three torrents), and for the dense fabric built around the first nuclei located in the valleys and along the lakeshore. The book is aimed to be an essential tool to know the articulation of the settlement, and to allow the first test of any hypothesis of human intervention.
