Le esperienze di politiche temporali urbane dei comuni della Lombardia nel panorama nazionale ed europeo

The book presents the state of the art after the impulse of European Union and of the new Italian National legislation. To verify the different regional, national and European experiences of urban time policies, the Lombardy Regional Council commissioned the research, presented in the book, to the Research Institute Irer and the Department of Architecture and Planning of Politecnico di Milano. The book reviews the different developments of these policies in the countries of European Union, with a reference to systematic and on-field surveys promoted by local universities and public administrations. Moreover, two best practices of Territorial Timetable Plan in Italian cities are described, focusing on their implication with social policies, town planning and strategic plan. Specific interest is devoted to enhance the role of several social and institutional actors involved in Lombardy Region and to the four case-studies of Lombardy cities. The research framework of policy analysis used develops what was defined for the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Condition of Dublin in its research on the same theme. Original documentation, archival materials and in-depth interviews are used to enrich the tale of cases.
