Abstract

The building rehabilitation needs particular attention. It depends on a lot of factors: socio-economic, urban and engineering factors. By structural point of view the rehabilitation of an existing building needs a structural approach different by the approach usually adopted for the project of a new building, in fact the parameters involved in the problem often suffer of uncertainty that cannot be forgotten. Following this way, the possible re-conversion of an existing building is here analysed and to take in account the uncertainties involved in the analysis a non-linear approach has been adopted
