At the end of the 80s in Italy urban and social time emerged as a new theme of public policy; it was translated into action and became a national law in 2000. Moreover, urban time policies are disseminated in several countries of European Union. The direct participation to these innovative processes as action-researcher and policy designer (also in charge of coordinating actions and implementing experience on the field) allowed a proximity to: decision-making processes, real actors of design and management of urban time policies, drafting and implementation of Timetable Territorial Plans and management of multi-partner projects. This helps, on one hand, to draw up case studies and reflections about technical, political and design tools used in the urban transformations; specifically the candidate built argumentative frameworks that identify elements of discipline and problematic issues of urban public policies. Abstract
On the other hand, these help to theorize forms of policy design, more specifically new effective ways of co-design. The article present this innovation in urban policy and its innovative aspects also in relation with urban planning.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
