Abstract
Nowadays the availability of powerful computing resources, that facilitate the numerical solution of complex electromagnetic problems, make rare the use of analytical approaches: nevertheless, the synthesis features of these methods show again very interesting advantages for the electromagnetic devices design and modelling. The paper describes the development of analytical formulations for the improved evaluation of fluxes and forces at the air-gap between ferromagnetic structures: the final expressions of the flux and force corrective factors are derived by new manipulations and superposition of some solutions of conformal transformations. The results obtained by using the corrective coefficients are compared with those of FEM numerical simulationsFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
