This publication examines the skills and strategies required to support the circular transition of the European furniture sector. Developed from the results of the CirCLER project, an Erasmus+ initiative bringing together higher education institutions, research and technology centres, sectoral associations and vocational education and training providers, the volume offers an interdisciplinary contribution to understanding how circularity can be embedded into real industrial practice, from regulation and business models to design, technology, and professional training. Rather than treating these dimensions as separate topics, the book is organised around a systemic perspective: regulatory change, professional competences, business innovation, design strategies, enabling technologies and training methodologies are presented as interdependent parts of a single transition, each shaping and being shaped by the others. At the centre of this transition is the Circular Economy Transition Manager (CETM), a new professional profile developed within CirCLER to bridge strategic sustainability objectives and day-to-day operational decisions across the furniture value chain.

Abstract
At the centre of this transition is the Circular Economy Transition Manager (CETM), a new professional profile developed within CirCLER to bridge strategic sustainability objectives and day-to-day operational decisions across the furniture value chain.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
