The digitisation of historic buildings, based on a scan-to-BIM approach, requires in-depth knowledge of survey techniques and geometric representation for the development of information models. The advent of the Semantic Web has expanded the potential of these models, allowed the integration and querying of interconnected domains. This research explores an innovative integration between point clouds and graph-based structures, allowing data to be queried from the earliest survey stages. Through specific ontologies related to costs and activities, restoration data can be managed and linked to point clouds, making them accessible and comprehensible without needing fully developed information models. This integrated system enhances efficiency and understanding of the restoration process, optimising resources and facilitating survey data management.

Abstract
The digitisation of historic buildings, based on a scan-to-BIM approach, requires in-depth knowledge of survey techniques and geometric representation for the development of information models. The advent of the Semantic Web has expanded the potential of these models, allowed the integration and querying of interconnected domains. This research explores an innovative integration between point clouds and graph-based structures, allowing data to be queried from the earliest survey stages. Through specific ontologies related to costs and activities, restoration data can be managed and linked to point clouds, making them accessible and comprehensible without needing fully developed information models. This integrated system enhances efficiency and understanding of the restoration process, optimising resources and facilitating survey data management.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
