Circular padding for the furniture sector reinterprets the traditional polyurethane foam component through a modular system based on recessed auxetic geometries. The cells, made of recyclable thermoplastics and covered in natural latex foam, replicate the compressive behavior of polyurethane by integrating mechanical limit switches and reversible, adhesive-free attachment systems. The modular configuration allows for differentiated flexibility, repair and the replacement of individual components, facilitating disassembly and recycling at the end of its life.

Abstract
Circular padding for the furniture sector reinterprets the traditional polyurethane foam component through a modular system based on recessed auxetic geometries. The cells, made of recyclable thermoplastics and covered in natural latex foam, replicate the compressive behavior of polyurethane by integrating mechanical limit switches and reversible, adhesive-free attachment systems. The modular configuration allows for differentiated flexibility, repair and the replacement of individual components, facilitating disassembly and recycling at the end of its life.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
