Note sul contributo di Vittorio Gregotti al disegno urbano = Notes on the contribution of Vittorio Gregotti to urban design in Italy

This paper aims at being an initial reflection on the publicistic/theoretical, but also on the design production of Vittorio Gregotti, a protagonist of Italian architectural culture for over fifty years. This article relates aspects of Gregotti's formation with some of his design contributions - reinterpreted according to the five models indicated by the author himself - and underlins the inseparable relationship of this sphere with the parallel critical and theoretical engagement conducted through a vast array of editorial contributions, with specific attention to the period of direction of the magazine Casabella, as a moment that marks, more than any other, the synthesis between design and critical reflection practiced with constant involvement by Gregotti.
