This research addresses the representation of the Jordanian cultural landscape, in particular expressions and facts rooted in centuries-old Bedouin culture, an economic and social tradition of adaptation to the Middle Eastern habitat. The aim of the research is also to increase the understanding of the collections exhibited at the Museum of Folklore and Popular Traditions at the archaeological site of the Roman Theatre in ʻAmmān. This paper reports on the creation of a research and practical program including objects, places, and techniques beyond the collections exhibited in museums to valorize Jordan’s living heritage.
