The climate crisis profoundly affects the processes through which physical, discursive, and lived spaces are produced, reshaping the layers of objects, signs, and meanings that constitute territorial palimpsests. At the local level, these transformations manifest themselves in the redefinition of practices for managing space and resources, in changing relationships among actors operating across different spheres of action, and in the growing difficulty of envisioning shared futures under conditions of uncertainty. This contribution explores the hypothesis that artistic and creative practices can play a significant role in bridging—also at an imaginative level—such divides by engaging with existing practices, routines, and values and opening up new spaces for dialogue between different ways of imagining and acting. Adopting a perspective centred on the development of climate resilience, the study focuses in particular on an ongoing co-creation experiment in Jerez de la Frontera, a wine-producing territory that is also emerging as a new energy landscape. As part of the European PALIMPSEST project, this experiment brings together local institutions, artists, and researchers to explore how the hybridisation of languages, sensibilities, and forms of expertise can reveal new directions for addressing place-specific challenges related to climate change. The contribution presents the approach adopted and the preliminary findings of this ongoing experimental process.

Abstract
The contribution presents the approach adopted and the preliminary findings of this ongoing experimental process.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
