Do Everything, Do It Artfully

This chapter situates Alberto Seassaro within the tradition of Italian transdisciplinary designers, emphasizing his ability to move across multiple domains. While his early career was marked by artistic experimentation, his focus progressively shifted toward education and institutional design. The foundation of the Faculty of Design (later School) at Politecnico di Milano is presented as his most significant project, conceived as a lifelong endeavor aimed at fostering adaptable and critically aware designers. The chapter also revisits his artistic research, particularly the Morfemi, which reflect his understanding of form as an open and interpretative system, linking artistic experimentation with pedagogical vision.
