"RE-CONNECTION DESIGN. Spatial strategies for multiscale challenges" offers a critical analysis of spatial design tactics aimed at re-establishing design-driven spatial relationships — functional, social, ecological, cultural and digital — between disconnected areas of territory and fragmented urban fabrics. The reconnection process is complex: it is not limited to physically reconnecting separate places, but also aims to rebuild flows of people, resources, information, biodiversity and collective meaning through targeted design solutions, to make spaces more livable, resilient and meaningful. Reconnection is, in fact, a multi-scale, iterative, multi- species, a creative and participatory design process that requires consistency between design proposals, governance and cultural practices. The analysis of the phenomenon of multidimensional fragmentation selects five critical- interpretative perspectives to define the related reconnection principles, and a perspective of multi-scale design case studies that address these challenges.
"RE-CONNECTION DESIGN.

Abstract
The analysis of the phenomenon of multidimensional fragmentation selects five critical- interpretative perspectives to define the related reconnection principles, and a perspective of multi-scale design case studies that address these challenges.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
