There are spaces where art and artificial intelligence converge, like two actors sharing the same stage. Both draw from what is human: stories, emotions, relationships, and transform these into structured forms of experience. Art does so through sensitivity, technique, and imagination; AI does so through calculations and algorithms, always drawing on a living archive of human gestures and words. AI does not invent emotion; it encodes and recomposes it, much like an actor constructs a character by studying texts, biographies, and behaviors. The Not For Her exhibition originates from a question: what happens when artificial intelligence, nourished by human language and experience, becomes the stage on which discrimination is performed? This article reflects on the creation of the interactive experience “AI role playing” within INEQUALITIES, the 24th Triennale Milano International Exhibition, as dialogue between design and theatre, starting from the initial circumstances of the experience, a reflection on the boundaries between the spectators and the actors, and presents initial data on public participation.
