Through multilayered landscapes. Phygital narrative and cultural identity

The focus of this paper is on landscapes as a cultural asset to be explored and enjoyed by different points of views and through different lenses in order to discover different levels of value and interpretation. Each landscape underlines a different dimension of its cultural identity. This last one is a sort of stratification of cultural elements which are related to the territory, people, and intangible assets. This work will deal with those cultural experiences focused on enjoying landscapes through digital technologies in digital and phygital dimensions. The narrative approach able to envision and design new ways to shape cultural experiences related to natural and urban landscape will be embraced. Paradigmatic case studies will be shown and examined in order to underline some design attitudes and narrative approaches. A critical framework will be proposed to situate the case studies considered.
