We tackle the challenge of enhancing a BSc-level foundational control course to both prepare prospective MSc students for their subsequent studies, and provide those just completing their Bachelor's degree with the competence to apply the concepts learnt while addressing real-world scenarii. The underlying pedagogical approach aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications, equipping students with the necessary skills for both advanced study and professional practice. In this paper, we present the structure and content of the course we designed for such purposes, share insights gained from its implementation over the past years, and outline potential future developments.

Abstract
We tackle the challenge of enhancing a BSc-level foundational control course to both prepare prospective MSc students for their subsequent studies, and provide those just completing their Bachelor's degree with the competence to apply the concepts learnt while addressing real-world scenarii. The underlying pedagogical approach aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications, equipping students with the necessary skills for both advanced study and professional practice. In this paper, we present the structure and content of the course we designed for such purposes, share insights gained from its implementation over the past years, and outline potential future developments.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
