This book analyzes the main Off-site steel technologies: hot-rolled profiles structures, Light Steel Frame structures, and insulated sandwich panels. A selection of projects details manufacturing processes and construction approaches. The interpretive paradigm “More with Less” offers an insight into current developments and the future of these technologies, aligned with the principles of the New European Bauhaus and Industry 5.0.
Il settore delle costruzioni è al centro di una profonda trasformazione, spinta dagli obiettivi di decarbonizzazione che promuovono innovazione e nuove consapevolezze. In questo scenario, l’acciaio si conferma materiale strategico per la sua “sostenibile leggerezza”. Il volume analizza le principali tecnologie Off-site in acciaio—strutture in profili laminati a caldo, strutture Light Steel Frame e pannelli sandwich coibentati—approfondendone processi produttivi e logiche costruttive attraverso una selezione di progetti realizzati.
