Research carried out after Covid-19 pandemic shows an increase in agile or smart working. Alongside well-known benefits such as reduced commuting and the revitalization of neighborhoods, remote working has generated a loss of social relations and excessive workloads, especially for those who also perform care activities. The offices are shrinking in space, and the home often must accommodate the workplace despite not having the appropriate characteristics to support it. The essay investigates a selection of coworking projects, independent and located within collective dwellings, which offer spatial solutions that are capable of reconciling work and care commitments.
