The transition to Electric Vehicles (EVs) is a fundamental step toward sustainable mobility and achieving carbon neutrality. However, several factors, particularly those related to charging infrastructure, continue to hinder EV adoption. To accelerate this shift, it is crucial to understand the preferences and expectations of users regarding Charging Stations (CSs). This survey examines key factors that impact user satisfaction, including accessibility, ease of use, payment flexibility, and station reliability, offering valuable insights for enhancing EV charging networks. The aim is to identify the most critical aspects that need to be addressed to improve the services provided and foster a smoother transition to electric mobility. By addressing user priorities, stakeholders can design charging networks that improve user experience and remove barriers to EV adoption. The results underscore the importance of a user-centric approach to infrastructure development, supporting the broader transition to sustainable transportation.
