Un'esperienza collettiva

The experience developed within the 'Carespaces' workshop is one of the outcomes of a design studio that identified, defined, and framed the two central themes of the design research and their spatial implications. This exercise provided an opportunity to reflect on and further investigate the relationship between architecture, work, and care, with particular attention to their social, urban, and occupational dimensions, within a contemporary context increasingly shaped by the rise of remote working. In this respect, the study highlights the complex relationships between physical spaces and emerging forms of interaction among people, exploring how urban environments can respond to society’s evolving needs, particularly those related to care and the quality of working life.

L’esperienza condotta all’interno del workshop Carespaces è uno degli esiti sviluppati all’interno di un laboratorio che ha definito, costruito e perimetrato i due temi centrali della ricerca progettuale e le sue declinazioni spaziali. Questo esercizio ha permesso di riflettere e approfondire la relazione tra architettura, lavoro e cura, con particolare attenzione alle dimensioni sociali, urbane e lavorative, in un contesto contemporaneo sempre più segnato dal fenomeno della remotizzazione del lavoro. In tal senso, l’indagine ha messo in luce i legami complessi tra gli spazi fisici e le nuove modalità di relazione tra le persone, analizzando come i luoghi urbani possano rispondere ai bisogni della società, in particolare a quelli legati alla cura e alla qualità della vita lavorativa.
