For the masonry aggregates, the research has presented an iterative procedure to automatically reproduce the active partial failure mechanisms in masonry aggregates and to predict the corresponding horizontal acceleration. Assuming for masonry the inability to withstand tensile stresses, at the same time not allowing the propagation inside the discretized model of spurious sliding. One masonry aggregate was chosen to do the distinct element analysis; it is obvious that with the decrease in tensile strength, the failure mechanism will change, and the sliding will be visible. It proves the necessity of my newest limit analysis procedure.

Abstract
For the masonry aggregates, the research has presented an iterative procedure to automatically reproduce the active partial failure mechanisms in masonry aggregates and to predict the corresponding horizontal acceleration. Assuming for masonry the inability to withstand tensile stresses, at the same time not allowing the propagation inside the discretized model of spurious sliding. One masonry aggregate was chosen to do the distinct element analysis; it is obvious that with the decrease in tensile strength, the failure mechanism will change, and the sliding will be visible. It proves the necessity of my newest limit analysis procedure.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
