We experimentally investigate mode-group resolved stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in a graded-index 15-mode fiber across the C- and L-bands. The measured SRS-induced gain is in agreement with analytical estimations and reaches up to 1.7 dB variation between mode-groups, constituting a wavelength-dependent SRS-induced mode-dependent loss.

Abstract
We experimentally investigate mode-group resolved stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in a graded-index 15-mode fiber across the C- and L-bands. The measured SRS-induced gain is in agreement with analytical estimations and reaches up to 1.7 dB variation between mode-groups, constituting a wavelength-dependent SRS-induced mode-dependent loss.File in questo prodotto:
