Tokenator: A Blockchain-based Platform for Monetizing Wearable Device Data

This paper demonstrates Tokenator, a distributed system that enables tokenization and monetization of wearable device data through blockchain technology. The platform implements a multi-tier architecture combining mobile application, cloud service, IPFS-based encrypted storage, and blockchainbased metadata management to create a secure marketplace for personal health data. Our implementation leverages React Native, Golang, IPFS, and Ethereum to deliver a scalable system that maintains user privacy while enabling data monetization. Through this demonstration, we showcase how users can tokenize their data, participate in marketplaces, and maintain control over their information. The system achieves token operations while providing insights into key challenges in distributed systems, particularly regarding blockchain scalability and privacypreserving data management. Tokenator demonstrates practical solutions for bridging traditional data collection systems with blockchain networks, contributing to the broader understanding of distributed data management systems.
