The paper offers a critical reflection on the urban and territorial effects of digital infrastructures and logistic platforms. It draws on an interpretative reading of the multidisciplinary literature on the subject and on the study of the measures introduced by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, with a particular focus on the activation process of the Simplified Logistic Zones. Lastly, an in-depth study of some initial Italian experiences of supra-municipal governance of logistic settlements has enabled the identification of guidelines and intervention rules. These have been derived from the glossaries of logistic functions introduced by the metropolitan territorial plans of Bologna and Milan, which are oriented towards a public regulation of the settlement phenomenon.
Il contributo restituisce una riflessione critica sugli effetti urbanistici e territoriali delle infrastrutture digitali e delle piattaforme logistiche a partire da una lettura interpretativa dell’articolata letteratura multidisciplinare sul tema e dallo studio delle misure di premialità introdotte dal Piano nazionale di ripresa e resilienza focalizzate, in particolare, sul processo di attivazione delle Zone logistiche semplificate. L’approfondimento di alcune prime esperienze italiane di governo degli insediamenti logistici, a scala sovracomunale, ha permesso, infine, di individuare alcuni indirizzi e regole di intervento a partire dai glossari delle funzioni logistiche introdotti dai Piani territoriali metropolitani di Bologna e Milano e orientati a una regolazione pubblica del fenomeno insediativo.
