Architect, engineer and urban planner, Plinio Marconi crossed the XX century with a series of activities on several fronts. In the master plans for a lot of cities, we can see his attention to the theme of historical fabric, from conservation to transformation and adaptation. The attention to the context and the environment can also be traced in the urban planning, design and construction of the modern rural founding villages of the Riforma Agraria in Basilicata (1950-1970).
