The project develops a dynamic orthosis for hand rehabilitation in patients with post-stroke spasticity, combining advanced design, innovative materials, and FDM 3D printing. Lightweight (95 g), easy to put on with one hand, and highly customizable, the structure integrates 3D-printed elastic springs that support finger extension (1-10 N) and leave the fingertips and palm free to maintain sensory feedback. The brace is thermoformable and modular, featuring variable-density TPU padding. Made from innovative plastic materials, it combines function, comfort, and autonomy, redefining the role of the orthopedic device.
Il progetto sviluppa un’ortesi dinamica per la riabilitazione della mano in pazienti con spasticità post-ictus, combinando design avanzato, materiali innovativi e stampa 3D FDM. Leggera (95 g), facile da indossare con una sola mano e altamente personalizzabile, la struttura integra molle elastiche stampate in 3D che supportano l’estensione delle dita (1-10 N) e lasciano liberi polpastrelli e palmo per mantenere il feedback sensoriale. Il tutore è termoformabile e modulare, con imbottitura in TPU a densità variabile. Realizzato in materiali plastici innovativi, unisce funzione, comfort e autonomia, ridefinendo il ruolo del dispositivo ortopedico.
