Allow, not forbid or Allow not, forbid

The oracle's prediction “Ibis redibis non morieris in bello” is probably one of the most famous ambiguous sentences. Considering the sentence “Allow not forbid” in the context of “Museum and Problems of Cultural Tourism” the key aspect is to consider what is allowed in museum and what is not including, as an extension, the “duties” of cultural institutions. Usually the term “museum” immediately recalls physical artifacts that testify to human ingenuity, creativity and culture. As an evolution of noble collections and Wunderkammer, nowadays the term “Museum”, in addition to the fact that the facility can be itself a historical building or an architectural masterpiece (immovable heritage), represents a wide range of “collections”, expanding the usual meaning, we will refer to tangible and intangible “objects” ranging from archaeological finds to pop art and, why not, comics. The present richness of different types of museums together with the nowadays means of fruition and enjoyment redefines where to put a comma in the title of the present document.
