The Interior Design Studio of the Master in AACI at the AUIC School of the Politecnico di Milano explores the synergy between interior design and urban design. Focusing on the neighbourhood scale, the course integrates territorial analysis with the design of small exhibition installations that reveal hidden aspects of the urban fabric. This approach led to the development of "Mostre di Quartiere" (Neighbourhood Exhibitions), a project that narrates the complex identity of Milan's neighbourhoods through site-specific exhibitions. Involving students, researchers, local authorities, associations and residents, the project reinterprets significant or neglected spaces, promoting social cohesion and territorial awareness. Over the last five years, it has focused on areas characterised by complexity and fragility, such as San Siro, Rogoredo and Quarto Oggiaro. Born in an academic context, Neighbourhood Exhibitions is now attracting growing institutional interest as an initiative capable of drawing public attention to key issues of the contemporary city.

Abstract
Born in an academic context, Neighbourhood Exhibitions is now attracting growing institutional interest as an initiative capable of drawing public attention to key issues of the contemporary city.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
