The contribution, resulting from an interview with Philip Christou, focuses on critical considerations about Florian Beigel and Philip Christou’s project for the Brikettfabrik in Witznitz, winner of the first prize in the International Competition of 1995-96. The project proposal aimed to define a new architectural infrastructure of landscape that, by enhancing pre-existing elements and traces, would allow the development of human imagination, through the discovery of a second nature of the mining landscape and through the metamorphosis of the soil. The project was conceived as a work in progress, a plan to be developed over the following decades, according to the needs of the time. A waiting project, a project in which the variable of time represents the central topic in the reading of the landscape but also in the conception and realization of the project hypothesis.

Abstract
A waiting project, a project in which the variable of time represents the central topic in the reading of the landscape but also in the conception and realization of the project hypothesis.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
