The growing reliance on electromedical equipment in hospital care services demands efficient management of complex devices, which existing control systems often do not support. This paper focuses on creating a set of evaluation metrics for the Clinical Engineering Department at ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda in Milan, Italy. The goal is to improve awareness of economic value, evaluate operational units, and optimize maintenance processes. Utilizing Business Intelligence, the study identifies 18 Key Performance Indicators spanning logistics, technical aspects, and equipment management. An interactive dashboard, created with PowerBI, enables dynamic analysis and visualization of these KPIs, offering insights into maintenance efficiency and the obsolescence of medical devices. The findings highlight the potential of the developed KPIs and dashboard to enhance operational insights and guide improvements in the maintenance processes of the healthcare facility.
