Cultura Valore S.r.l. thanks to the continuous collaborative dialogue with the Politecnico di Milano and central Institutes of the Ministry of Culture - has launched the virtual classroom "3D Digitization in Museums and Territories": a virtual meeting place for mutual knowledge and collaboration between researchers and technicians experienced in creating 3D digital models. This is not a training course, but a tool aimed at creating a learning community animated by curiosity and a spirit of collaboration. Several museums, national restoration institutes, and archaeological sites have participated and shared experiences, problems, solutions, and opportunities. In these months, national standards for creating 3D models of cultural heritage will be defined; therefore, the meetings already held in the virtual classroom (all meetings have been video-recorded and archived) may be a first contribution towards participatory regulation. Cultura Valore is committed to keeping the technical and methodological discussion open and documented in the coming years. On this occasion, a proposal for a mind map has been developed, presenting the primary logical relationships between the processes and services to be developed.
