Starting from an ongoing research, this paper intends to investigate the town plans for Cremona, Piacenza and Pavia designed after World War II in consultation with Luigi Dodi. First of all, it intends to bring out the design approach of these town plans as regards the issues of zoning, roads and transport, historical centres and urban design. Furthermore, it intends to reflect on Dodi’s contribution to the culture of modern town planning.
