First, a new and specific method to realize a time-based PI controller has been presented; Such method allows to not use anymore the delay-lines as well as their complex control circuitry and polarizations; The presented solution remains fully integrated on-chip and doesn’t require any extra pad/ball, nor additional off-chip component; Our solution doesn’t require any extra process mask nor specific devices; The proposed implementation does not exhibit any drawback nor side-effects.
