An isostatic mounting system is described to support a sensor and to minimise the thermal conductivity between the sensor and a carrier thereof. An isostatic mounting system comprises at least one support foot configured to be fixed, in use, to a structure of the carrier, and at least one leg extending from the support foot. The support foot is made of a full solid materiai and the leg has a lattice structure made of the same materiai of the support foot.
