This paper focuses on the 1923 Monza Exhibition and its significant contribution to promoting new decorative and industrial arts. Despite the intention to democratize art and design, the exhibition maintained an elitist aura, primarily attracting established societal leaders. Yet, it marked a critical step in the integration of artistic innovation with industrial production, influencing both national and international perceptions of Italian industry. The exhibition served as a platform to elevate local industries by aligning them with international standards and showcasing Italian craftsmanship alongside modern industrial products.
