In today’s scenario, even in the Heritage fi eld, computer models are the exchange platform that can be used by different professional fi gures, facilitating the possibility of collaboration and contribution of several skills; furthermore, models have been enriched with the possibility of interactions coming from the application of sensors to existing artefacts, opening up the possibility of real-time monitoring useful for maintenance. The possibility of using the model in VR environments further amplifi es its value as a cultural vehicle and historical artefact for use in both tourist and educational enhancement.
