IL PONTE, LA TORRE, IL PALAZZO

The project stems from Proarch Perugia's call for tender to connect the historic centre of Perugia with the university campus located within the so-called “Conca”. This theme is then associated with the other two issues posed by the call: the creation of a new building for the canteen, café and parking - to which a new library is added in our proposal - and the arrangement of public spaces at the lower level of the campus with the creation of a new square in front of the main project building. These themes are addressed by the proposal as the initial starting point of the project, which then finds its formal references closely linked to the site - the bridge, the tower and the building - which are assembled together as in a typological collage.

Il progetto nasce dalla richiesta del bando della Call di Proarch Perugia di collegare il centro storico di Perugia con il campus universitario posto all’interno della cosiddetta "Conca". A questo tema si associano poi le altre due questioni poste dal bando: la creazione di un nuovo edificio per la mensa, il caffè e i parcheggi – a cui si aggiunge nella nostra proposta una nuova biblioteca – e la sistemazione degli spazi pubblici alla quota inferiore del campus con la creazione di una nuova piazza antistante l’edificio principale di progetto. Questi temi vengono affrontati dalla proposta come spunto iniziale del progetto, che trova poi i suoi riferimenti formali legati strettamente al luogo - il ponte, la torre e il palazzo - che vengono assemblati tra loro come in un collage tipologico. .
