The aims of the project is to highlight the environmental benefits of using EUR/EPAL pallets in a system based on the exchange and pooling of pallets as opposed to a system with no exchange and pooling. The work was carried out with the collaboration of the commissioning party, who helped obtain information from a number of producers (both with and without a sawmill) and from pallet repairers. The LCA of the EUR/EPAL pallet was carried out pursuant to the current ISO standards.
