The Interdisciplinary Workshops_Periscope offered, in the various editions, the opportunity to activate a transversal theoretical/practical observation lens concerning the following critical themes. NATURE & ARTIFICE. It proposed a reflection on the complex natural and artificial relationships in the contemporary Anthropocene Era and future reality. SPATIAL SOUND_SCAPE. A reflection on Spatial Design considering the current increasingly relevant focus on sound (emotional) and acoustic (functional) design as a whole dimension. CLIMATE_PERFORMANCE. Climate change is a global reality that is already affecting our planet and our daily lives. It is mainly communicated as a global threat, but it also offers a wide range of new opportunities to improve our lives and the way we use the planet in the future. EXTRACTION PLACES_SCAPES. It proposed a reflection on the landscapes of extraction as a representation of the contradictions and the social, spatial, economic, and ecological caesuras of a process of planetary urbanization. They define new de-localized maps, generating displacements in the relationship between local and global issues.
